Are you in high school and want to learn how to code for virtual reality? Immersive Tech Lab has you covered!

Vancouver VR Community had the chance to drop by the Immersive Technology Lab’s (ITL) workshop at Microsoft Vancouver. Led by instructor Janet Chen (founder of the AGDA VR student group at UBC), students laughed and bonded as they worked together to create their own VR experience.

ITL is currently the only fully-fledged high school student VR development program; founded by UBC professor Dr. Ray Hsu, its mission is to teach highschoolers industry-level skills in AR/VR/MR development and prepare them for future studies in some of the most exciting university technology labs in North America.

For readers of Vancouver VR Community, they’ve kindly offered a limited time offer of $400 off registration to the program. We’re looking forward to seeing these students become the next generation of technology leaders in the AR/VR/MR space!
